It is an educational experience because they teach the children (and parents) how pumpkins and strawberries are grown. They have ample space for picnicing with tables or bring a blanket and picnic on the lawn. The petting zoo is great and in the spring, for the strawberries, there are usually baby animals that have recently been born. I highly recommend this to individuals and suggest it to your children's schools, because it is fun and educational at the same time. Makes for a great family experience as well.

Some of the strawberries are as big as the palm of your hand. The people that run the place are very friendly but bring your cell phone because you may have to call someone to come out. Not to worry though their house is right in front of the patch (house on the corner of the highways if you are looking for it). They encourage you to fill your basket to the top too. You may pay a dollar or two more for a flat than you would elsewhere in the area, but it is well worth it to be able to pick your own. I've never seen a maze of any kind there. The place is only 2 miles down the road from me so I pass it almost everyday. I really hope that they do start a maze though. I will report back if one is made in the future.
