They seem to have almost anything you could possibly need, usually a very reasonable prices. A good example is the huge variety of Belgium mums. While local big-box stores are right now (August) stocking fall mums in full bloom at not-so-great prices for the quality of the plants, Cox's have thousands of excellent, huge, locally-grown mums, in full bud for almost half the price. And the more you buy, the better your price. When the big-box mums are brown by September and October, mums from Cox's will be in full glory, just when you can appreciate the show. Note: Some of the tree and shrub stock begins to look a little ragged in late summer, but then they usually put them on sale for half price, and they remain a great bargain for good gardeners.

It's like stepping back in time when you go there ... they have bulk seed, seed potatoes, onion sets ... the whole spectrum. In addition to the wonderful plants and seeds, they have many garden accessories from tools to bird baths, to planter boxes. It's just a great experience visiting their store.
