Star Nursery ("Homed" in Las Vegas, Nevada) announced that they were closing all locations in AZ effective 10/2008. The three I'd previously visited are, in fact, closed. The Bell Avenue location became a Desert Winds; the one in Surprise is now a Moon Valley Nursery.

When they started out here in Tolleson they didn't have the knowledge needed to properly assist customers. Now, they have at least one very knowledgable individual on duty at all times. The customer service is excellent! Their inventory could be improved upon but they do have a decent selection.
