A Proper Garden

A Proper Garden offers a fantastic selection of many larger-sized plants suitable for this zone (6a / 5b.) Some of their selections were unusual, even bleeding edge, for zone pushers. All their plants were delightfully healthy, and the staff are knowledgable and helpful. This nursery also offers a surprisingly good selection of container-grown tropicals for patio plantings.

They excel in their selection of water features and sculptural planters. They have several planters that are unlike anything I have seen before.

If I were to give them a negative mark anywhere it would be that their prices are higher, but given their region (Columbus metro) and given the quality of the plants they offer, if you want what they're offering you'll pay for it. I did, and I have absolutely no regrets.
