We visited Grimm's Gardens at the reccommendation of a friend and found it to be a wonderland of gardening, horticulture and agroforestry. The owners are very personable and helpful. The plants are healthy and plentiful and varied. The planters are designed with unusual and very attractive plant groupings in visually interesting planters. There are many "ideas" presented on the grounds for customers to use "found" objects in an attractive arrangement with their plants. The fruit and ornamental trees are healthy and the staff very knowledgeable about the care of each species. We were especially impressed by the method of planting all their trees and shrubs in "root-pruned" containers that encourage a much healthier root system than with the use of the industry's standard pots. We encourage everyone to set aside a 1/2 day or more to explore Grimm's Gardens and enjoy! The trip is well worth it.
