The selection of annuals/perennials and the labeling are good, but the prices are high and the staff is very opinionated and snobish. For example, they refer to podocarpus as "podoCRAPus," which is narrow-minded of them because for certain applications (a hedge that is in part shade, part sun, for example), podocarpus is an excellent choice. The selection of shrubs and trees isn't very good. This is a "cute" nursery. The bird is a nice touch. Parking is inconvenient because there is no lot and an auto-repair place next door.

An excellent little garden center on the grounds of an old Victorian that stocks a great variety of plants. It has an especially nice selection of plants for shade. Plants are well signed with detailed notes on cultivation requirements, and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful.
The nursery is nicely laid out and is delightful to wander around in. -The lovebird is a special treat. Upstairs, in the Victorian, is a coffee shop/antique/gift store with indoor and outdoor seating. It is a lovely place to have a latte and look out over the peaceful nursery setting.
