This is a great nursery, specializing in shade plants (esp hostas; some originals) with lots of native varieties. If you are on the central Maine coast (near Belfast), don't miss a trip to Fermwood Gardens (owner:Rick Sawyer). Call before you go - they are moving in 2009 to a new (larger)location. I am hoping that means even more choices! I always make an annual visit there when I go to Maine for vacation and drive home with a carload of unusual and interesting plants.
