I drove over late in the afternoon, arriving less than an hour before their closing time. Despite the lateness of the hour, Katherine, the staff person, welcomed me warmly and we had a wonderful chat. It's a smaller operation, which some would consider a fault, however the selection of plants was good (especially for the time of year) and Katherine was quite friendly and informative about their strengths and weaknesses - both the plants' and the nursery's. They are very willing to locate and order plants they may not have in stock, even those "harder to find" ones. They also had a nice selection of native local plants, which I liked. I came away with several purchases and a nice gift of some free seeds. It was definitely worth the 25-mile drive and I'm already planning a return trip soon!
