Lavalette is a favorite haunt for Huntington-area gardeners. Their selection of trees, shrubs, roses, and perennials is excellent, and the knowledgeable staff is always helpful. There are better places for annuals, although they do carry some, but if you are willing to take the time (what gardener isn't?) to snoop around the perennials area you will find many interesting specimens. They also have a good stock of mulch, straw, stepping stones, and other gardening supplies. Highly recommended!
