Valley Farms is a locally-owned, family-run nursery and landscaping business that I have patronized for 3 years. They have a very nice selection and reasonable prices. Plants and trees I have bought from them have all thrived, except for one apricot tree. Tony identified the disease and immediately offered a replacement. The owners and staff are very generous with advice, and I've often taken in diseased leaves for identification. If the experts aren't there, they call me back later. All of the staff (including the experts) are willing to say "I don't know" if they don't have an answer. They also offer free classes in the spring. The only criticisms I would offer are 1) occasionally they are understaffed, and 2) they have a status-quo approach (toxic chemicals) to pest, weed and disease problems.
