Bear Creek Nursery (Ozark Bamboo Garden)

Hubby and I decided to visit Eureka Springs for our anniversary. We also share a love for bamboo, so when we found Bear Creek Nursery was in Eureka Springs, we were so excited! Many cultivars to choose from, as well as beautiful pottery, birdbaths and plenty of trees, shrubs, perennials and more. You could spend a lot of time at the nursery just looking, oohing and aahing.

We exchanged email and phone calls with the owner before traveling. He surprised us by having the cultivars we had discussed in pots set aside in case we wanted them.

The nursery was very tidy, maintained well, run well, priced well, we just couldn't stop bragging. We'd been to visit other plant nurseries in the area and let's just say we bought nothing until we shopped Bear Creek Nursery. Hubby and I found ourselves exchanging "Is that the right price?" glances. A good sign!

We are very pleased with all of our purchases and cannot wait to go back for more. The plants are healthy, strong and labeled properly. The owner knows his stuff, and he knows quite a bit about bamboo. It was nice to know someone was actually growing it for themselves and knew what they were talking about, not just passing along plugs.

Two green thumbs up, Bear Creek Nursery, we will be back for much more!
