This was one of the stops on a garden-themed bus tour, and it was our favorite of the day. Linden Hill is a combo display garden and nursery with a stone barn as a centerpiece. The perennial gardens are some of the best you'll see anywhere -- brilliantly designed and meticulously maintained by a horticulturist who recently wrote a book on that subject. The plants are cutting-edge varieties and also displayed artfully (not just lined up on benches in alphabetical order). Plantaholics could easily spend hours here -- and probably do!
