High Hand Nurseries

The nursery is bookended by a building filled with ceramic pots, statues, and miscellaneous things. On the opposite side is a good-sized cafe/restaurant that is open Tuesday-Sunday for breakfast and lunch. The service was a little slow but friendly and the food was worth the wait. It's a little on the gourmet and expensive side, however.

The nursery itself appears to specialize in Japanese maples. They have quite a few on hand (I'd guess several hundred if not a thousand). I was disappointed with the variety of their cultivars though. For the most part it was the standard JM fare of Crimson Queens, Bloodgoods and Seiryus.

Still, it's laid out in a pleasing park-like way with a lot of mini inspiration gardens set up that succeed in their attempts to inspire. A koi pond and waterfall help complete the scene.
