After driving past what seemed like a tiny roadside nursery, I was blown away, and kicked myself for not stopping sooner. It is much bigger than it looks from the highway, and their inventory was incredible. Not only did I find plants that I had been looking for for years, but the plants were in excellent condition, and reasonably priced. Among the very eclectic selection of plants were some really nice garden ornaments, unlike what I usually see in the local nurseries. On two separate ocassions two different clients went to Green Jeans to shop for plants on my recommendation.
Both clients were treated so rudely that they called me and informed me about their experiences.
One of my clients was so distraught that she asked her husband to go down to the nursery and speak with one of the owners.

I had a misreable experience when placing a special order.
I would call to check in on the order once a week. Each week I was told a completely different explanation for why the plants did not arrive.
Finally I had enough and ordered the plants directly from the wholesaler.
When the Owner of Green Jeans found out that I ordered directly from the wholesaler ( San Marcos Growers ), he called me and was yelling at the top of his lungs that " how dare I go behind his back and order from HIS suppliers ".

This was quite a baffling outburst of the most unstable kind , not to mention totally ridiculous since I have been a customer of SMG for over 20 years.

Also, when I did place the order with San Marcos growers they informed me that the plants I was ordering thru Green Jeans had never been on plant request order to them.
