I worked at Brookwood which is a residential and day community for people with limitations. What a job they do in horticulture!! It is a big operation with excellent plants from begonias of all kinds to creeping jenny and other perennial 'goods'. When I left they had 17 greenhouses and have doubled their production. The students and teachers (trained in horticulture and special ed.) propagate and grow the plants. Take the drive out I10 for a big treat!! They also have stores in Houston and in Spring, but the original one is the best of the best.

This is an amazing place. Highly recommend the guided tour which includes the art center, chapel, greenhouses, resident housing, and gift and garden shops. Has a first class restaurant. Reservations required.

Plant prices and selections are very good.
