Lula has forgotten more than I will ever know! This place also carries Heirloom tomatoes. Bad Monsanto for creating the terminator seed! Long live Heirloom!

And the chickens are fun to visit, too. I miss the really big guy...I have never seen such a large rooster in my life...he stood at least 2 feet tall!

I found Laddyslipper by accident, about 6 years ago. The highlight of welcoming Spring every year is my first trip back, to look for plants for our flower boxes and vegetable garden. I enjoy wandering through the different greenhouses and plant "lots", as well as talking with the very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Countless times they have given me great advice about what (or not) to plant, how to care for a particular plant, or helped me identify something unusual or old (i.e., plants I remember in my great-grandmother's garden). I really appreciate this family owned business. Note: They have the usual plant array for sale, but also have rare and unusual plants, a great selection of hanging baskets, and yard art/sculpture from local artists. Love, love, LOVE this place!

This has been my favorite little spot for many years for my outdoor plantings. I plan to go this week, as I am excited that last year's drout did not damper their spirits, as they are alive and well this spring with many plants not found at home depot, pikes, etc. Can't wait to visit, my yard desparately needs them!

Lots of interesting plants. I went once last summer and plan to go again this spring. (Waited too late last year and missed out on a coral verbena) Great selection of shade plants as well as some unusual annuals.

5/2008 - Went again this year and it's still as wonderful as before. Great selection, VERY nice people and comparable prices as well. Their annual selection is as big as their perinneal selection. The annuals are higher in price than at a big box store, but they are hardy, large plants. I always stop here first on my N. GA nursery route.
