There are only 2 reasons why I give Grandma's Garden four stars instead of five. #1, their plants can be pricey. Granted, they are large and always in very good condition, but they are expensive. If you plan to frequent Grandma's, however, you can become a Perennial Club member, providing you with a year round discount on all perennials. #2, they both grow and sell purple loosestrife, which is an extremely harmful, invasive plant throughout widespread wetlands. I have talked with them about this, to no avail. Otherwise, Grandma's has a lovely selection of plants, garden art, beautiful fountains, trees and shrubs, and a fairly knowledgeable staff. For the little ones, there are goats to feed, an occassional toy train to ride, and many seasonal activities. The gift shop is lovely, too. Nice place to browse and enjoy the 'country garden' setting. They often have free refreshments and there's always something new to see.
