Hi Sarv
Its me,Sheri, from Freeport!
Anyhow, I took a morning to hang out at Creekside, and I brought my list of wishes with me.

The only plant I could find was one that was sick and the gal there gave it to me for free to nurse it. Its a doublefile viburnam.

The selection was not that great yet. Maybe later on in June I will try again. all i saw was the usual flats of violas, verbenum, pansys, allysum YAWN.

The roses were typical run of the mill, a little of each colour. I guess you have to supply what the local gardener wants if you are going to stay in business.

They did have a nice selection of vegies ready to pop into the ground, if we can ever not have a freeze at night already!

I did find all the help friendly and attentive, a nice family atmosphere. I remember the old days, of garden centers with all the weird and named varieties. Guess thats what I was comparing it with.

Isn't WaveCrest or whatever it is out in Saugatuck a old fashioned more plant specific named varieties garden center?

any how, I will keep poking around. Have you been to the one in Lowell?

Great greenhouse..They bend over backward to help you and their plants are top notch! Also host several 'family' type events which are a big hit! I'm there often!!
