Oma's is also designated as a wildlife habitat and there are pets that wander the nursery and are always glad to get attention!

If you haven’t been to Oma’s lately then you haven’t seen the vast improvements they have done there from rain water recycling to the improvements to the nursery such as granite gravel so that the customers don’t walk away with muddy shoes.
She has many Texas Native plants that you cannot find anywhere else and they are well priced. Not the sick, under watered and over fertilized like you find most other places. There are always workers there to help and I cannot remember a time that I wasn’t asked if I needed any help finding anything.
I have never been asked to buy any books but the workers there will look information up in them for you if it is a question that they cannot answer themselves which isn’t often.

They had two employees there and two customer, I was one of the two customer. There answer to me was to sell me a book on trees and plants native to Texas. Now I know they are probably the best gardners in the world, but I don't think everyone is that goes to purchase there if so they are very lucky. I have called once for assistance and they act like they are too busy to give you any information. So I don't think I will ever go much less buy anything from there.
