Jim is wonderful! We live down the street from the nursery and brought a snake to him for identification. He gave us so much knowledge on snakes and showed us how to identify venomous and non-venomous. The nursery is a beautiful layout and a must see! (by the way, our snake was a watersnake - nonvenomous)!

I had been to their wonderfully informative web site many times, and drove down to Fayetteville to check out their nursery. This is a nursery for gardeners who are tired of the bland homogeneity of big box stores and are looking for plants you've read about but never seen outside a botanical garden. They have hard to find natives like Devilwood (Osmanthus americanus) and Florida Yew (Taxus floridiana). I purchased a Ben Franklin tree (Franklinia alatamaha), a very rare decidous, flowering tree, and several native milkweeds (Asclepias tuberosa). Jim and Debbie are personable and informed, and lead you around the nursery, showing you plants like they're introducing their family to you. I can't wait to visit them again.

We went in looking for some general advice and plants for attracting butterflies, and came out much better educated on the importance, and benefits, of gardening with native species. Very cool place, very large selection, extremely knowledgeable staff. If you live in the Atlanta area, you MUST see this place and spend some time talking to Jim and his staff.

I wanted a particular tree that was difficult to find. Nearly Native had the tree I wanted in the size I wanted. I received it very quickly and in excellent condition. My questions about planting materials were answered promptly and thoroughly. A great experience in every way and I recommend this company to everyone.

Last Sunday I visited Nearly Native Nursery in Fayetteville, GA. I had been to their former location a few years ago and enjoyed it, however the new location is much larger and the plant selection far better. The owners, Debbie & Jim, are quite personable and very knowledgeble about gardening. My interest is in palms and I look forward to being a regular customer. I'd like to encourage others to check them out.

I honestly cannot say enough about this nursery. Both Jim and Debi (owners) are very knowledgable and very helpful. Most importantly, they both made me feel welcome and have been very friendly every time I have been there (even five minutes before closing!). I am a beginner and I really found all the information/knowledge very helpful. The prices are very reasonable and actually less than the other nurseries in the area by far (believe me I have shopped them all)! If you happen do be in the area, I highly recommend them.

I love this place. the owner is a font of knowlege, and he has a good supply of natives. He also has a couple of parrots that are fun to visit with. The plants I've gotten here have been good and healthy.
