I agree with the comments made by previous reviewers. We also enjoyed the tour of the winery and the grounds.

Biltmore has an excellent garden shop and they market many of their plants to other garden shops. Unfortunately, one cannot go just to the garden shop itself unless you pay the very high fee to get into the Biltmore House.

Their rose garden is spectacular when in bloom, and the Christmas displays are outstanding.

The interior of the Biltmore home is definitely worth the trip all on its own, but the estate's gardens (designed in the late 1800s by Frederick Law Olmstead and architect Richard Morris Hunt) are also highly noteworthy. Renowned for design and particularly for the lavish azalea display, it's advised to allot extra time to enjoy the park-like gardens as well as the exquisite home.
