Sego Nursery is the last funky, get-lost-in-plant-paradise nursery left. It has a great selection of regular and irregular plants, space for a decent selection of containers, everything you need, if you're a serious gardener. It also has a strange little section of "collectables", but I forgive them. Because they Promise not to sell out, or retire. And I need them desperately.
