Wow listen to all you complainers. This store offers a huge assortment of pet foods that are highly nutritious. Staff is fairly knowledged in their products. Garden center is tidy and of better quality than other local stores I've visited. Pleasant experience, and fair pricing. I think all of you have too high standards. It's retail, I'm sure dealing with pestering cry babies was not in their contract. To anyone looking for healthy foods for their pets and quality plants visit this store!

very very sad...this store has so much potential and lots of space. the arrangements and format is poorly organized.whoever does the displays..well,help is needed.the variety is fair. the store needs to identify their niche and develop appeal. i was very disappointed and would hate to see this turned over to another developer. service was poor..not even some music at christmas time. help looked bored and needed a little new england moxy!like i said, if they want repeat customers..visual merchandising is needed..better training of employees and find that niche! hoping for good things to happen!

I had gone to get food for my dog. I usually go to a small dog specialty store here in Bristol but she was out of it at the time and I was in dire need. I will NEVER go to this store again. The workers were not pleasant and one had a real problem with looking in the computer or the back to see if they had more of what I was looking for. If I ever run out again, I will make Cookie's dinner myself.

I HATE going to this store for pet food or anything else. I only go there when my regular pet store is out of the cat food my pets need. The employees are not knowledgeable or even personable. No one greets you, no friendly smile or hello when you walk in the door, half the time the register person doesn't even look at you while you are being rung up. It's a shame because the employees are ruining what could be an otherwise cool store with a good selection of stuff.

Although they do have much variety I feel their customer service needs work. Not a very friendly bunch of employees here. Also things are not priced correctly (either no sticker or sticker has an incorrect amount). Need to get their ducks in a row. But overall it is a great store with lots of inventory...

New Garden Center

I recently learned that the manager from Meadowbrook in Burlington has been hired to manage the garden centers at New England's General Store. This gives me high hopes for the remainder of this season and especially for next season. It is rare these days to ask a question at a store and get the kind of knowledgeable and honest answers that I have experienced with her. I can't wait to see how the place really changes under her direction.
