Very friendly and enthusiastic family business. I enjoy their e-mail newsletter. They have interesting sales, like all -you -can -carry daylillies for $20. They're capable of almost anything in terms of quantity with their large stock of trees and shrubs. Probably the East's biggest proponent of Green Giant Arborvitae/Thuja plicata. Fun, down-to-earth website with lot's of practical advice about deer, land use, etc.

They welcome birders, and offer hunting leases and other recreational opportunities on their extensive properties. My only problem with Highland Hill Farms (besides the distance) is they still sell Berberis, which even they acknowledge is invasive around here.
