All,

I am looking to overhaul the landscaping at my house. I have a 2 story and would like to anchor one corner with a 10 foot (about) pyramidal pine tree. Anyone have any ideas? If not pyramidal, how about conical.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

My friend you are in luck...I was looking for the same thing and crazy enough I live over in O'fallon. Anyway as to your question I will be planting Aborvitae Technito "first edition," which will grow to about 8 feet. The second link is essentially the same tree, but only grows to about 6 feet.

Did you order online or get at a local nursery?

I just found those today after extensive searching, more than likely I will wind up ordering online.

You can also go with a green emerald aborvitae...they are cheaper and available everywhere. They are slow growers and are supposed to reach a max of 15 fet, but that is after a long time. You can always just trim to the size you want.
