Landscaping: Dwarf Pine Tree

nDEBt Troy, IL (Zone 6a) May 04, 2009 10:32 AM	All, I am looking to overhaul the landscaping at my house. I have a 2 story and would like to anchor one corner with a 10 foot (about) pyramidal pine tree. Anyone have any ideas? If not pyramidal, how about conical. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Anyway as to your question I will be planting Aborvitae Technito "first edition," which will grow to about 8 feet. TCmofo O Fallon, IL May 07, 2009 01:58 PM	You can also go with a green emerald aborvitae...they are cheaper and available everywhere. They are slow growers and are supposed to reach a max of 15 fet, but that is after a long time. You can always just trim to the size you want.
