We are adding rather large deck to the back of our home and would like to put several pots of flowers on the deck. What kind of perennials would survive in large pots on a deck? They will get sun until about 1:00. Thanks

Use some water retaining crystals You should be able to put about anything in them. I have cannas in containers this year and they are really nice. Herbs to well in containers too. All you need to do is make sure that they do not dry out.

Water-Sorb is a good product that I have used successfully.
