How do I close a thread that I started and have gotten the information I need ? Is it necessary to do this?

Another question: I have a Texas star hibiscus that is pink and the only ones I find on the plant ID are white. Does anyone know what it is? It looks just like the white alba.

No, you do not have to close a thread. Go to the Hibisus forum and ask your question there if you don't get an answer here.

Bonnie -- there are only a few forums that off the "Close" option.

I know the PlantID forum, Co-Op [though that is no longer an issue] Trade forums, and possibly a few others that i've never been in.

as for your Hibiscus, as Smokey stated, you can try that forum or the Plant ID forum.... but having a photo helps.

Thanks,
I think I figured out that my hibiscus is actually a red one although it isn't very vibrant, more of a pink to me.
