I have been wanting to find out what kind of sage this is and finally got a couple of pix of it so there is the first one. In the summer it gets a small purple blue flower on it. I will post the second pix it is a closer pix.

I looked it up and I think it can be both culinary and ornimental. I think I have narrowed it down to Salvia officinalis berggarten because of the zone hardiness. That is the only one so far that is a common sage that I find that is hardy in my zone 5b.

I believe that is the same kind that I just got cuttings of. I was wondering exactly what kind it was.

After checking... don't think it is. The foliage on mine are smaller and smooth but fuzzy.

Would like to ID this cactus. Has large spiraling ribs, trailing white dots on ribs, blooms about twice a year. Had it in a pot for 15 years, now in the ground on my 2 acres, Lakeview Mtns, elevation 2100', coastal sage scrub.

I think you should start a new thread for that cactus this thread is on my sage.

Looks like Salvia officinalis, Common Garden Sage. The 'Berggarten' cultivar has shorter, broad, almost rounded leaves.
