Any mature parts to show? Flowers or seed-pods.

Thanks for that , now I have to decide if I keep it or not. Does anyone have any first or second hand knowledge of this tree?

It's native to China, fairly popular in the timber industry. Capable of growing in poor soil, actually thrives in it. Very fast growing... Some would say invasive.

It's been declared invasive in at least several states in your area of the country--not sure if TN has it officially on their list or not but I would definitely get rid of it.

I guess your right, it's really growing in piss poor soil so I bet it would get out of control and it's really not in a good place if it tends to go nuts. Thanks for the advice, but it really is a cool looking plant.
