I'm not sure what plant you are talking about but I have heard the Bryophyllum called Alligator plant. Look through some of these and see if you find a match to your plant: [HYPERLINK@davesgarden.com]

Is this what you are talking about. I call it Mother of Millions. This one has been outside all summer in part sun. I keep it by a west window in the winter and just keep it watered. I'm in zone 6.

Nomenclature can be difficult to keep up with. Thank you for the information about the plant that was considered a Kalanchoe but now has its own genus, Bryophyllum. First I'd heard that. Common names are a bugaboo, but they are here to stay. I wonder how many common names this plant has worldwide, and in how many languages?
