This plant is growing as a weed in Morwell National Park in Australia, escaped from a neqarby garden. We intend to remove it from the park, but I would like to identify it first.
The photo shows a plant in bud. I meant to get back for a flower picture, but missed out and it does not appear to be setting any flower this year.
I recently came across an image of Aloe zebrina (as a fun random image on DG) and that looks like a strong possibility. Can anyone give me a firm identification. One of you Aloe experts please? palmbob, can you help?

I don't know but if that is what the weeds look like where you live, consider yourself lucky.
