Please help me decide what to put in my uneven, spotty lawn to make it look nice and not need mowing. Thank you!

NOTHING, No matter what you grow, it will need attention, so either dig up and put down Gravel, pavers or bark chipping, I have seen TRENDY people in UK who are sick of lawns, so they have grown Thyme or Camomile insted and it dont need cutting at all, I understand that this is the new green in some quarters (each to their own I say) however it does give off a wonderful perfume when walked on, no ball games though, but I would imagine it will require prunning at some point in a year or it will get too leggy. Just giving you thoughts, good luck. WeeNel.

I would suggest adding soil to the low spots and spreading some good seed all over your lawn. When the new grass grows in it'll help strangle out any weeds you might have....I actually enjoy mowing, it's good excercise and something productive to do outside in the sun.
