Need ideas for companion planting. Roses are Rosa "Radrazz".

Are you wanting shrubs, perennials, annuals or a combination thereof? Knockouts are so durable they can be combined with a vast array of other plant material. :-)

Looking primarily for perennials and annuals.

Perennials I have planted near my 'Knockout' include daylilies, salvias, verbena, shasta daisy, anise hyssop (Agastache), Russian sage, hollyhocks and several types of ornamental grasses.

Annuals usually near my 'Knockout' include rocket larkspur, love-in-a-mist (Nigella damascena), cosmos, zinnias, marigolds, and moss rose.

Basically any full to part sun plant which doesn't require constant moisture could be a possible companion! :-)

Black Mondo Grass is stunning and doesn't broadcast seeds over the entire neighborhood.

I also like some of the shorter Spanish or Munstead Lavender (English Lavender may get too big and crowd your roses)

Dwarf Agapanthus is another favorite, I prefer the white but the lavender is often easier to find.

Dianthus is another great companion for rose garden.

Thanks to all. Trying shasta daisy, anise hyssop, hollyhock, Munstead Lavender, and dianthus.

Sounds like a nice combination, post photos when it fills in.
