Yes, it was a Euphorbia before Monadenium.... could be a variety of Euphorbia ritchie.

Correct name is Monadenium ritchiei. Monadeniums, while in the Euphorbiaceae Family, are a separate genus from Euphorbia.

It promises to be a very interesting plant. I had a very hard time leaving that Euphorbia site....so many Euphorbias....so little room....grin It looks very much like the E ritchiei.

You may have already consulted this listing: http://www.florasuculenta.com/Euphorbiaceae/clasificacion4.h...

Hi

Faeden ,. I had understood that was the otherwise. I believed that the genus Monadenium , Elaeophorbia , Endadenium, , Synadenium and Pedilanthus were transferred to Euphorbia and therefore Monadenium was as a synonym of Euphorbia. Thanks for your help.

Jean .....your always so kind and gentle with me, and all .....thanks, .thanks, thanks. I save those links to see.
