faeden SF Bay Area, CA (Zone 9b) November 22, 2009 01:29 AM	Correct name is Monadenium ritchiei. Monadeniums, while in the Euphorbiaceae Family, are a separate genus from Euphorbia.

I believed that the genus Monadenium , Elaeophorbia , Endadenium, , Synadenium and Pedilanthus were transferred to Euphorbia and therefore Monadenium was as a synonym of Euphorbia.
