Your tree looks like a Magnolia!

The flowering tree does indeed look like a magnolia, but that's a guess. As for the other one, It almost looks like an orange allium plant. If you crush the leaves/stems do they give off an onion/garlic like aroma?

#1 I may be wrong but I did not think magnolias did a cluster bloom. Most magnolias (michellas) I thought would do a single bloom spiratically on the tips of the branches or limbs. Can you give a description of the tree itself. Maybe a foliage shot or a bud shot if still not opened?
#2 Flower to me looks like a Kalanchio(sp) bloom
#3 the grass looks like an iris of some sort. The iris may bloom again depending on the weather. It may be a repeater. There are alot of those out there.

In Georgia USA the magnolias do not have cluster of blooms. THe blooms are white and come from pods which from first.

The flowers are similar to the stellata and saucer hybrids but not any kind of commom one I know. That does not mean there is one out there that does not cluster bloom now. Is there?

Hi Annette....can't help much with 2 or 3, but number one is a Bangkok Rose...Mussaenda philippica We fell in love with them in Cairns. They line the sidewalk at the airport there. The pink "petals" are actually bracts. The bloom is very tiny and in the center of each cluster of bractlets...(my word) grin

Hi there,

For my two bob's worth-

Number 1 looks like Cassia javanica (the tree in your photo appears to have pinnate leaves which eliminates Mussaenda and Michelia/ Magnolia).

Images 2 and 3 look like Haemodorum coccineum

No 1 is exactly what it is, I live in the tropics so Have never seen a magnolia here but cassias are common.

No 2 is correct as well, Well done:))))
