It's hard for me to make out details of your plant but my first thought is it resembles an Alternanthera that is sold at Home Depot's here in my area.

It has a common name of Red Thread I propagate that one. In zone 8a it is an annual. It can be kept indoors for the winter in a well lit room. I have found They make beautiful hanging baskets.
