I got this as a gift today. Any help with ID, and or culture would be appreciated. As far as I know, it was kept indoors in a nursing home. The plant is about 24" high, and 24" to 30" in diameter. Attached is a photo of a leaf, and a dead flower. Thans, for any help.

It's a Peace Plant. Very common from florists as gifts. Does well as a houseplant. Just needs to be watered every once in awhile. In the summer, I take mine outside but be sure to bring it in before the frost hits!

It's also called spathiphyllum.

I agree, Spathiphyllum, commonly called "Peace Lily": http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/57837/

Can I throw a spath picture in here? It has a great spath and was on clearance, so it came home with me.

There are 15 Spathiphyllum listed in Plant Files: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/b/Araceae/Spathiphyllum/non...

I used to have a few of the Petite Spath's, only one I have now is the one called Domino. I've had it for a long time and it took a hit with the cold weather we had last winter. It stays out on my deck year round and gets covered with a blanket if the temp's are predicted to drop.
