I did a butterfly garden for the first time this summer. The monarchs loved the milkweed I had. The plants were about 2 feet tall with blooms. I had purchased them from a local garden center and kept them in containers.

My question is this...now that it is November in Texas, do I need to do anything to these plants or will they weather fine as they are. Do they go dormant? And if I wanted to propogate more, could I do it from cuttings?

Thanks for any info for this obvious beginner :)

Do you have any idea which "milkweed" plant you are speaking of? What did the bloom's look like?

Rachel

Edit: Did your milkweed plant look anything like this one? http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/73/
