Okay, I know it's autumn and this vine is dead. Does anyone have an idea what it is thought? Not too many books ID stuff based on seed pod.

Don't know the Latin but it sure looks like the wild cucumbers that grow around here...

Yep, it sure does. And I'm sure it was a wild vine (Mom found it).

It's a native annual vine... easy to control in the yard by pulling any up excess ones.

Yes, I'm sure it was just found wild somewhere. But she recently found a very nice vine wild too, so I think she's always interested in finding out what she might have on the property.
