It is a Sida. Maybe Sida spinosa.

Hello, Metrosideros, thanks for telling me that it is a Sida. I tried to learn more about Sida spinosa but could not find much information. How about Sida cordifolia ?

Hi Wongjky, we have Sida cordifolia in Hawai'i, and it doesn't match your plant. I need to read more on the plant to be sure of a species.

Hello Metrosideros, I had been in Hawaii once many years ago, 1986? and found it's a nice place. What a blessing living in Hawaii ! Enjoy.

I read on the plant and gathered information from various sources ultimately found that it is a sida subcordata. Thank you Metrosideros and trackinsand for your hints. I am glad to mark this thread solved.
