i live in texas (zone 9)
we just installed an inground swimming pool. I have a 6 foot wooden fence that i want to landscape. I wanted something taller in the back against the fence for privacy and then something mediun sized then small in the front. any suggestions would be appreciated.
thanks

How much sun/shade does the area get? And how is it situated relative to the pool--is it close enough that you need to avoid things that might drop leaves/fruits/etc into the pool?

What about a cane lounge chair and an outdoor umbrella?

paint the fence a colorful shade and put potted plants of different heights? tuck the chairs & tables here & there among them. I don't know if 5 feet will give you room for 2 rows of plantings.

I like Lynnie's idea about painting the fence and containers.

That Lynnie, she's always coming up with good ideas! It actually *is* a really good idea. You could get creative with colors.
