CassysCorner Salem, OR (Zone 8a) August 11, 2009 05:04 AM	I'd agree... crocosmia is what it looks like. It's super easy to transplant. Just dig it up and plop it in a new place, when it's done flowering. If it's still hot and dry out, just make sure it gets enough water. I think it prefers sun, and well-drained soil, and needs water first couple of years. Once it's established I don't think it needs to be watered a bunch. My transplants took a couple of years to flower. The ones doing the best are in full sun and near the drip hose. Other people I know have them in dry areas of the yard though.
