Hi! My nephew sent me this picture and asked me if I knew what it was. I have no idea. He just bought a house and this is growing in different spots through his yard. Would anyone know what it is?

Thanks

Wild onion. Edible if you care to but easy to get rid of by simply digging up the bulbs.

Hope that helps!

I would recommend digging up the bulbs--it's very invasive!

IF you cant get out right now to dig up the bulbs, then tell him to go cut off all the seed heads as these seeds will fall and start off new plants, IF it is wild Garlic, it spreads like wild fire and will soon take over the whole garden, IF it is onion ( same family as Garlic) the bulbs are easy to remove and destroy, but for now, get rid of the flowers and seed heads till the bulbs can be removed. good luck. It's garlic. Use it for seasoning! You can did the bulbs and save too.
