I have 2 Tree's the one I do not know the name of and the other is a Weeping Willow that its leafs are all turning brown on us and we planted it about 2 weeks ago .. I also have a Red Bush that I would like to know the name of .. I have taken pics of all 3 Tree's and one is the Weeping Willows brown leafs. Can anyone please tell me the name of the Red Bush and the small Green Tree??? I have included pics of the other tree's on 2 other post
This one looks like a curly willow......scientific name I'm not sure of. The plant/tree i.d. forum is the place for postings pics of unknowns. Good luck on your willow turning brown. Transplanting in the heat is very hard on anything. Whenever we plant a tree we first dig a hole about three times the size of the root ball, then fill the hole with water to make sure it drains well. After it has drained you can plant your tree but, not too deeply ....that is the death of many trees. A good rule of thumb is to plant it at the same depth it was in it's pot. It is believed that trees should be slightly higher than the surrounding area, maybe an inch or two. Then after watering in it's new home, mulch. If you've done it right, return the tree to store you bought it from for a refund, it might not have been healthy to begin with.
