Landscaping: Propagating Crepe Myrtle

memefol Fairmount, GA June 13, 2009 07:16 PM	When and how do I propagate a Crepe Myrtle Tree? I have several cuttings coming up from the roots and I would like to root them instead of cutting them off.

TexasLizzy Southlake, TX (Zone 8a) June 25, 2009 05:54 PM	we use crepe myrtle cuttings for wattles to keep the dogs out of hte beds. by the end of the year I ahve about 20 starts of crepe myrtles. I have transplanted many. All I do is cut and put in the ground in spring and water wiht the rest of my beds. By June/July they are growing new leaves.
